Personal information:  Providence Academy does not save or store credit card information.  It is used only to process the payment.

Providence Academy collects and uses personal information with adequate notice and consent, when applicable. For example, when you register for activities or classes, we will ask you to provide personal information to complete these transactions. This information will include contact information such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address; and other unique information such as user IDs and passwords. 

How we use your information: 

Providence Academy may use your information to:

-        Help register you or any member or your family to the classes, products and services offered through this website.

-        Assist you in completing a transaction or order;

-        Communicate with you about classes, products, etc.

-       Provide service and support;

Credit card information is used only for payment processing and fraud prevention. and is not stored by Providence Academy. Credit card information and other sensitive personal information required to process a transaction is not used for any other purpose. 

Keeping your personal information secure:  To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, Providence Academy utilizes appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

We use a 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, provided by Verisign, the largest provider of Security to the Internet world during the entire registration process.   Our software vendor, rSchoolToday, is also PCI complaint, which is the Federal standard for credit card security for Personal Cardholder Information. 

SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but you or us.  This security measure is working when you see the symbol of either an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser) at the bottom of your browser window. 

Credit card numbers are used only for processing payments and are not used for other purposes. Credit Card numbers are stored as encrypted and will show to you and to us as with only the last four digits (For example: VISA XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-3456). This service gives you and an extra level of security to guard against credit card fraud and to protect your financial data.
